Booked is a customer-facing booking platform — not a lead-gen marketplace. Customers see your published prices, pick your time window, and pay your service call fee in the app before you ever pull out of the driveway. You show up, do the work, get paid.
Most platforms were built by people who’ve never been in a truck. Booked was built around the way real trades work — diagnostic first, flat-rate where it can be flat, hourly where it can’t, and paid for the work you do.
Most home services platforms make their money by selling contractors “leads” — your contact info, sold to multiple contractors at once, charged per lead whether anyone books or not. That’s why customer pricing is hidden, why phone tag never ends, and why you pay regardless of outcome.
Booked makes money differently. Nothing per booking — ever. Eventually a flat monthly subscription once we’ve proven the platform sends real, qualified work. That single change flips the incentives: real prices, real bookings, real time windows, and you keep 100% of every dollar a customer pays you.
Your insurance covers your work. Booked carries platform-level insurance for the edge cases. We resolve disputes by published policy, not by ducking. Customers trust the platform, which means they trust booking you through it. That trust is the whole product.
Booked launches free for contractors. Once we’ve proven the platform sends you real, qualified bookings, we’ll roll out subscription tiers (likely $99–$399/mo depending on volume). Subscriptions — never per-booking percentages — because subscriptions reward you for publishing your best prices. Percentages would punish you for it.
The first 20 contractors get founding-member status — featured placement at launch, lifetime free access, and direct line to the team for product feedback.
